Once back in Rochdale, Tim met his future wife, Janet and they both wanted to have a more rural life so moved north to Inverness, and then further north to Caithness.
Since moving to Caithness, Tim has been able to rediscover his love of watercolour painting and now also uses oil, pastel and mixed media to create his work.
It's always difficult to balance work, home and trying to run a small business, so creating a bespoke Studio in the garden seemed to answer all criteria.
The Studio may be just off the main A99, but for those who want to find "something different" taking time off the North Coast 500 will be rewarded and a delight particularly in the summer with a rich collection of wild flowers dotted along the road edges, fantastic sea views with peace and quiet to boot.
